A Note on Pascha, Greek for Passover, our word for “easter”…

Orthodox Christians throughout the world celebrate Pascha on a date often different than that of Western Christians. (If you’d like to learn why that is, here is an article on the topic.) In 2024, Pascha falls on Sunday, May 5. However, if you would like to celebrate Pascha with us, you will need to make plans to attend a service that begins at 10:30pm on Saturday, May 4. If you come to our church on Sunday, May 5 you will have missed the big event. (Although the celebration of Pascha continues for 40 days.)
